Grand Slam Charity Jam event raises money for Camp Hometown Heroes

Screen Shot 2018-06-25 at 9.54.35 AMHundreds of people attended a special charity event in downtown Milwaukee on Saturday. All the money raised benefits Camp Hometown Heroes, a free week-long camp in Wisconsin for children who lost a parent or sibling through service in the U.S. Military. The goal of the event was to raise $100,000 for the camp.

Camp Hometown Heroes is back in the INFINITI Coaches’ Challenge

Marquette’s head basketball coach Steve Wojciechowski is representing Camp Hometown Heroes in the INFINITI Coaches’ Challenge. Camp Hometown is a free week-long, Wisconsin-based summer camp for military children who have lost a parent in the service of our country.

The winner of the competition gets $100,000 donated to his charity but charities also get donations for each round they advance.
